Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injuries (MARSI) affect millions of patients annually. Skin tears from adhesive removal are among the most common adverse events in hospitals and nursing homes — with 88% determined to be preventable.
Our Solution
Comfort Release® bandages use a patented adhesive technology (U.S. Patent No. 10,329,458) developed by Dr. Howard Rosing, MD, PhD, in collaboration with Cornell University. The adhesive maintains secure adhesion but releases painlessly when treated with rubbing alcohol.
