How Comfort Release® Works
Patented technology that sticks when you need it — and releases without pain when you don’t.
Clean & Apply
Clean the wound and pat dry. Peel open the sterile wrapper and apply the bandage, pressing firmly on the adhesive edges for a secure seal.
Wear with Confidence
Hospital-grade adhesive stays in place through daily activities, bathing, and movement. Rated for up to 7 days of continuous wear.
Swipe with Alcohol
Simply swipe alcohol prep pads (included with select packs) over the bandage for 3-10 seconds. The alcohol deactivates the adhesive bond.
Lift Pain-Free
Gently lift the bandage — it releases completely without pulling skin, hair, or causing tissue trauma. Zero pain. Zero tears. Every time.
Who Needs Pain-Free Bandages?
Our target audiences include patients, caregivers, and healthcare facilities where skin integrity matters most.
The Science Behind Pain-Free Removal
OGS (Oligomeric Switch) Technology
Comfort Release® bandages use a revolutionary adhesive system combining:
- Medical-Grade Acrylic Adhesive — Provides strong, reliable adhesion used in hospital-grade tapes and wound dressings.
- Oligomeric Switch (OGS) — A biodegradable resin that reinforces adhesion normally, but dissolves completely when exposed to isopropyl alcohol.
The Key Difference
Traditional bandages create a mechanical bond. Removing them requires force — pulling, peeling, ripping — which damages skin. Comfort Release® eliminates mechanical force entirely through chemical dissolution. Zero force on skin during removal.
Clinical Study Results
Adult satisfaction with pain-free removal
Children experienced no pain during changes
Parents said they would repurchase
Satisfaction with Comfort Release® ranged from 86-96%, compared to just 6-26% with competing sensitive skin bandages. A 3-15x improvement.
